What is a 'Hindustan' Jade?

The Qianlong Emperor first utilized the term 'Hindustan' when referring to jade objects in 1768. These two objects, originating from Mughal India, were the first to be assigned to this category. Their transport was not linear, returning to and from China in a distinct pattern different from the jades documented pre-1768.
